Paul Zamitis, JR
    Some sad news about our member Paul Zamitis, JR. He passed away on
    December 30, 2009 after an illness. More information is available on-line

    Chris Tietgens has been moved to Worcester as his condition is

Legislative Activity that Needs Your Attention
    The Patrick Administration has a number of legislative activities that affect
    the citizens of the Commonwealth and their Second Amendment rights.

Massachusetts SJC Will Review Gun Lock Ruling
    The state's highest court plans to review the constitutionality of a recently
    challenged state law that requires gun owners to lock their weapons,
    making it the first test in Massachusetts of a landmark US Supreme Court
    ruling that Americans have the constitutional right to own guns and stow

Stephen Sterbinsky
    Stephen Sterbinsky long time club member and club attorney passed
    away this week at the age of 53.

    Viewing will be at Lamoureux-Fletcher Community Funeral Home, 105
    Central Street, Gardner this Sunday afternoon between 2:00 and 5:00

    Mass will be held at the Congregational Church of Phillipston on Monday
    morning starting at 11:00 am.

Governor Patrick Files H.4102 An Act to Reduce Firearm Violence
    Governor Deval Patrick (D) filed legislation that would severely curtail the
    rights of gun owners in the Commonwealth.  The bill entitled, “An Act to
    Reduce Firearm Violence,” is in essence a repeat performance of

    Please have a look at this latest assault on our Constitutional rights. For

Blair  Lariviere

    Blair Lariviere (Life Member and Vice President) passed away on Thursday, December 18th.

    Calling hours will be from 1:00 through 4:00 pm on Sunday, December
    28th at Boucher Funeral Home located at 110 Nichols Street in Gardner.
    The funeral will be held on Monday, December 29th, with a mass at
    Sacred Heart Church, 166 Cross Street in Gardner, starting at 11:00 am.

    Memorial contributions may be made out to Susan Lariviere, PO Box 31,
    181 Cook Road, Templeton, MA 01468.  Funds will be used to establish a
    scholarship at Gardner High School.
